Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
Writing for oneself is good for introspection, but writing for others, in the hope of sharing, learning and discussing is vastly more insightful and effective. Two (or more) heads are better than one. Besides, the things I think about and write about concern humanity.
What topics do you think you’ll write about?
About how we think (Philosophy and cognitive science); about how we work (evolution of productivity); and where we’re going as a species.
Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
Anyone with a longer-than-average attention span. People who approach life with wonder and curiosity and want to preserve it for posterity. People who think deeply about their productivity and creativity.
If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
Operating this site is a way to share with the world thoughts that (I promise I will do my best) are cultivated, informed and clear. The chief goal: a repository of some of my creative work, hopefully academic research, and perhaps a community with whom I can interact and find new projects to work on.
